GA Europe were appointed agents by Deloitte to run Comet during their administration process. On behalf of GA Europe, we headed up the project for the whole portfolio of 235 stores. 90 consultants were engaged to support the process.

Store sizes varied from 8,000 square feet to 32,000 square feet. Our focus was to ensure the store and field teams remained engaged and positive throughout this difficult period. It was also vital that retail operations communication remained consistent and positive.

We implemented a trading strategy for the 235 stores and exploited the website to drive footfall. We also managed the store P&L, security, maintenance and trading strategy across the entire business.

Amanda has great communication and people skills, and an empathic approach which manifests itself through much needed moral support for people finding themselves in difficult circumstances. She is very quick in disseminating post meeting information/minutes.

Thriving on challenges and driven by results, Amanda has an inner steel which informs her decision making. She is also capable of bringing everyone onboard, using her personality to achieve the best outcome.
